MN365 Photo Essay

Hello All,
New photo project while I get set up in Minneapolis again. I will be posting a photo a day of sites around Minnesota. For the time being I’m focusing on the Twin Cities area. This could be a fun project, but could also get tricky later on when the weather gets icky this winter. For now though, I’m going to have fun with it! Megan and Jacob Engaged!

This has to be one of my most favorite shoots to date. Megan and Jacob are a great couple and you can see their dynamic with each other makes for great photos. I had the opportunity to take some photos of friends before they moved out of the country. We did the shoot in downtown Des Moines to soak up some Iowa scenery that they might not see again for a while thanks for looking!

Rhiannon Shoot!

This is a shoot at a shop that I love here in Des Moines – West End Salvage. I love the different colors and contrasts I can find there – tons of fun unique pieces as well. Rhiannon was so excited to do this photo shoot and that made me even more excited. She chose all her clothes to wear as well, which made it even more fun! Enjoy…

I love photographing our beautiful buildings downtown. Here is one of my favorites. I just submitted it for a contest – “The color of gold” by Profotio.com.  Des Moines has some beautiful structures and architecture as well as COLOR! I love color and there are a lot of hidden gems downtown.
